These two are the real deal – they have the kind of love that radiates so much that it makes everyone around them happy.
I met Lauren and Jeremiah at her parents’ home in northern Pennsylvania, a beautiful white farmhouse set among fields and trees and was immediately taken with the landscape and with these two! And trust me, their story is just as beautiful as these sun-soaked hills.
Jeremiah lost his leg in an accident a few years ago. Having been a marathon runner before his accident, Jeremiah wanted to prove that he could still live at the pace that he’d set for himself, even minus one leg. Though they’d known each other tangentially for a while (Jeremiah was friends with Lauren’s brother), he and Lauren got close when training for and running a marathon, post-accident! They survived a long distance relationship while Lauren went to dental school in Portland, Maine and Jeremiah stayed to teach in Pennsylvania. These two are determined, kind, and inspiring people whose smiles and love are just infectious!
