Andrea & Tim | Classic Engagement Session at the George Eastman Gardens | Rochester Wedding Photographer

George Eastman House Engagement Session

What a perfect day for an engagement session. The sun was shining, the garden full of lush greenery and blossoming anemones nodding in the breeze.

I will be photographing Andrea and Tim’s wedding in Rochester, New York in 2019, at the beautiful Mill Creek Club. We’ve been planning their wedding photography together for the past year. We’d talked about quite a few locations for their engagement session, but since they were hoping for a classic feel for their session, the George Eastman House gardens were the clear choice. It is one of Rochester’s most elegant locations for an engagement session, and always one of my first recommendations!

Meeting couples for an engagement session is one of my favorite parts of the wedding planning process. We wandered the meandering brick pathways together, and Andrea and Tim danced along the Eastman House’s stately front terrace. (I’m a big fan of anyone who will dance for me – or with me – in public!).

Greenery will be a main element in their wedding this summer, so a garden engagement session was a beautiful way to tie these images to their wedding photos in a cohesive but distinct way.
